These pages give details of where to find the configuration settings for LDAP in various mail programs. They are intended for use if you are configuring a personal machine. If you are using public machines, for example a PWF or a departmental system, then you may find that the settings have been made for you. Hermes Webmail has access to the University LDAP Directory already configured.
Note. The University LDAP Directory is only available to mail clients on computers on the Cambridge network. If you are away from Cambridge and wish to use the University LDAP Directory then you will need to use the VPDN service so that your computer appears to be on the Cambridge network. Alternatively you can use Hermes Webmail.
