  • Default preferences now take make less space (down from 6Mb to 1.8Mb)
  • Logout of users after 20 mins or more inactivity

  • Due to issues with Internet Explorer, Safari is now the default web browser on the PWF Macs and IE no longer appear in the Dock by default. Users who prefer to use IE should run it from Applications/Communications & Networking and select 'Keep in Dock' if they wish to have this as a personal preference.

  • The problem with the PWF OS X Macs dropping server connections and losing the ability to run certain applications such as IE and Mulberry has now been fixed, all users should now run 'Reset My PWF Preferences' from Applications/Utilities.
  • Several changes have been made to the PWF Macintosh default preferences since the OS X service was released. In order to benefit from these changes users need to run 'Reset My PWF Preferences' from Applications/Utilities. However please be aware that any personal preferences/bookmarks etc will be lost by doing this.
