Introduction
The Computing Service organises seminars and workshops at which attendance is limited to those registered as TechLink support contacts (except where otherwise stated here, or where prior permission has been obtained).
A brief email about new seminars will be sent via the ucam-itsupport@lists.cam.ac.uk mailing list and reminders will be sent shortly before each seminar. If you plan to attend, please follow the signing-up instructions included in the messages. TechLinks who for any reason fail to receive the notification via the list should email techlink-admin@ucs.cam.ac.uk
Feel free to email suggestions for topics you think would be valuable to techlink-admin@ucs.cam.ac.uk.
The current schedule is, where possible, to offer monthly seminars on the third Wednesday of the month. In addition, we have a stream of vendor-presented technical briefs on the first Wednesday of the month.
THE DEFAULT TIME, DAY & VENUE FOR SEMINARS ARE AS FOLLOWS: 14:15 Wednesday in the Hopkinson Lecture Theatre, Phoenix Building, New Museums Site
Techlink Industry Briefs include a lunch provided by the vendor from 13:30. Note that caterers normally require a week's notice of numbers so please give plenty of notice when signing up for these.
